Trapping Workshop In Spanish Fort In February

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is holding a youth and adult trapping workshop on February 19-20, 2022, at the District V Wildlife Office in Spanish Fort. The educational workshop provides instruction on the historical aspects of trapping, biological information about furbearers and furbearer management and the proper techniques of using trapping as a sound wildlife management tool. Recommended for ages 7 and up, with youth ages 7-15 required to be accompanied by an adult, the workshop is limited to 25 participants. Participation is free for youth ages 7 to 17, but registration is required. There is a $10 registration fee for each adult attending.
