AGC Mobile Section Announces Officers And Directors

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) Mobile Section recently held its annual meeting and installed its 2023 officers and directors. John T. Whitman, vice president of operations for Mobile Asphalt Co., LLC was installed as president. He succeeds Josh McElhenney of McElhenney Construction Co., LLC, who will continue to serve as immediate past president. Other contractor officers are: Vice President Chad C. Ammons of Ammons & Blackmon Construction and Secretary-Treasurer R. Wesley Cooke, Jr. of Persons Services Corp. Additionally, R. Chad Brown Sr. with Thompson Engineering, Inc. will serve as associate president for the Mobile Section. Gina S. Dalton with Safety Plus, Inc. will serve as associate vice president. R.J. Gonzales with Southern Earth Sciences will continue to serve as immediate past associate president. Robert McDonough with McElhenney Construction Co., LLC will serve as 2023 chair of the Mobile Section’s Construction Leadership Council, succeeding Thomas Cotton with Thomas Industries. Joshua H. Maharrey of BCC Waste Solutions serves as vice chair, and Jay P. Davison of Thompson is secretary-treasurer. The Mobile Section also has two section members leading the Alabama AGC this year: Robert B. Middleton, president of Middleton Construction LLC, will serve as 2023 statewide president. He also serves as a past president of the Mobile Section board. Morris King with Vulcan Materials Co. – Mobile will serve as associate president of the statewide Associate Board.
