Alabama AGC Presents Associate Member Of The Year Award

During the recent annual meeting of the Mobile Section of the Alabama Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AGC), Morris King with Vulcan Materials, Inc. and his dog, Millie, were presented with the Associate Member of the Year Award, recognizing them for their support for work zone safety. King and Millie traveled throughout Alabama during 2023 and will continue their travels in 2024 to teach fourth graders about the importance of “No Phones in the Cone Zone.” The Alabama AGC works with elected officials on the local, statewide and national levels on industry issues affecting economic and infrastructure development. AGC works closely with governmental agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to provide safety awareness programs for contractors.
