City Of Mobile Chooses Africatown Architect

The City of Mobile has selected Birmingham’s Studio 2H Design, LLC, which designed the Historic Bethel Baptist Church and Carver Theater/Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame in Birmingham, to design the plan for the new interpretative welcome center celebrating the history of Africatown, according to FOX10. The design team also includes H.M. Yonge & Associates, which has offices in Pensacola and Mobile; Birmingham’s StudioRotan, MBA Engineers Inc. and SARCOR LLC; and Boston’s MASS Design Group.
