Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office Contract Let

The Baldwin County Commission recently awarded a contract for the construction of a new district attorney’s office in Bay Minette for $7.59 million, WPMI reported. Currently, the district attorney’s office is spread out across four separate offices. The new building will make communication within the office easier and allow for more teamwork. It will also provide more space in the courthouse for new judges due to district attorney staff vacating the courthouse. The new two-story office is being built for growth. Its first floor will be finished, and the second floor will be partially finished. Construction is to take approximately 2 years.
