Baldwin County Home Builder Part Of Acquisition

Dilworth Homes, a major builder and developer in Baldwin County, as well as Auburn, Alabama, has been acquired by Vestavia Hills, Alabama-based Harris Doyle Homes, according to AL.com. The acquisition makes Harris Doyle one of the largest residential new home builders in Alabama, the company said. Dilworth will continue to operate under the Dilworth Homes name with owner Michael Dilworth, who began the company  in 1999 and has overseen operations. Dilworth currently builds in seven communities in Auburn and four communities in Baldwin County. Harris Doyle builds in 12 Alabama communities across Birmingham, Auburn, Pike Road and Lake Martin.
