White-Spunner Construction Awarded For Dave & Buster’s

 White-Spunner Construction announced that its Dave & Buster’s Newest Prototype project has been honored with a 2025 BuildSouth Award by the Associated General Contractors of Alabama. Completed in December 2024, this 31,000-ft2 facility combines technologically advanced entertainment with modern construction and design. The project involved the complete development of a 6.1-acre wet site, which required elevating the land several feet to achieve the final grade for the building pad and parking pavement. Extensive site work included grading, storm drainage, utility installations, landscaping and a 294-space parking lot. The building was constructed using a steel column and beam structure, with exterior finishes including colored stucco, corrugated metal panels, storefront glass and integrated color-changing lighting. Inside, the facility features a full-service dining area and 200-ft U-shaped sports bar anchored by a 40-ft-wide LED screen. In addition to the 12,000-ft2 arcade floor, there are two D&B Arenas, fully immersive arcade rooms featuring touch-sensitive walls and floors. These arenas provide fast-paced games for up to six players with adjacent full-service dining areas.
