White-Spunner Project Earns Excellence Award

White-Spunner Construction announced it has received an Excellence in Construction Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Alabama recognizing its work on a luxury hangar and office facility in Fairhope. This design-build project was developed in collaboration with Partner Architecture to meet the specific needs of a private client. Located on Fairhope’s airport campus, the facility includes a corporate hangar, administrative office space, a fuel farm and a service building. The project supports the client’s business operations by providing extensive aircraft storage alongside premium office accommodations. The 35,000-ft2 facility was constructed using a pre-engineered metal building with a structural steel frame. Its design features include 260-ft clear spans and two 110- by 28-ft aircraft doors. The hangar and office suite feature conference rooms, storage areas for pilots, a modern kitchen and lounge, restrooms, an owner’s lounge and a private garage. The space comfortably accommodates up to seven corporate jets.
