Thompson Engineering QCI Training Available Online

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) has authorized Thompson Engineering to offer an online version of the Qualified Credentialed Inspector (QCI) initial training class. This class is available for people who need the QCI certification now to conduct their routine business or meet environmental compliance standards. This on-demand opportunity is available to both first-time students and QCIs who have let their certifications expire. QCI initial training covers the regulatory requirements included in the ADEM General Permit ALR100000 for construction activities in the State of Alabama, as well as information about stormwater regulations for small mining pits. Find more information online or call 251-666-2443. An in-person class will also be held on August 27 at Thompson’s corporate headquarters’ new courtyard meeting space at its facility on Cottage Hill Road in Mobile.
