GMC ACQUIRES CSS

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC), one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the Southeast with offices in Mobile and Daphne, has acquired Commercial Site Solutions (CSS), a civil engineering firm with offices in Greenville, South Carolina, and Tampa, Business Alabama reports. CSS has provided site planning and civil engineering design services for a range of developments including commercial, municipal, industrial, institutional and residential since its founding in 2007. The acquisition adds 12 employees—seven in South Carolina and five in Florida—to GMC. The CSS staff in South Carolina has moved into GMC’s offices in Greenville. The CSS Florida staff will remain in Lutz, Florida, just outside Tampa Bay. This represents GMC’s fourth Florida location.
