McNellage & Associates Acquired

DAPHNE, Ala. — Mingledorff’s Inc. recently announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the assets of McNellage & Associates Inc. in Daphne. The parties hope to close the transaction in the third quarter. McNellage & Associates was founded in 1986 by Walter S. McNellage, Jr. and his son, Bubba, to serve as the manufacturer’s sales representative for York applied heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in South Alabama and the Florida panhandle. Bubba assumed leadership of the company in 1992 after his father’s passing. In 2007, the company relocated from Mobile to its current location in Daphne. McNellage’s team has forged relationships in the commercial HVAC market and has been recognized as one of JCI/York’s top sales agents in the country multiple times. After the close of the transaction, the McNellage & Associates team will be moving into the Mingledorff’s Gulf Coast District Headquarters in Loxley to join its Gulf Coast Commercial Team. Mingledorff’s is the largest independent Carrier air conditioning distributor in the U.S.
