Performance Contractors Named National Contractor Of The Year

Performance Contractors, Inc., which has had a regional office in Mobile since 1998, was recently named the Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) National Contractor of the Year at the 33rd annual Excellence in Construction Awards gala. This award honors a single entity as an outstanding leader, innovator and executor of projects in the industry. In addition to this award, Performance Contractors received several other ABC accolades this year, including the National Safety Excellence Award and two Eagle Awards. The National Safety Excellence award acknowledges ABC members who have displayed exceptional achievements in construction safety. The Eagle Awards—the construction industry’s highest honor—were awarded for the Cooperative Energy Plant Morrow Repowering Project, which was managed by the Mobile team, and the Valero-Diamond Green Diesel Liquified Petroleum Gas to Steam Methane Reformer Mechanical Project. Additionally, eight Performance Contractors employees competed in the ABC National Craft Championships.
