Southern Earth Sciences Promotes Department Manager

Southern Earth Sciences Inc., headquartered in Mobile, recently announced the promotion of Bennett E. Dulaney, P.E., to geotechnical department manager of its Mobile office. Dulaney joined the company in 2011 as a student intern while studying Civil Engineering at the University of South Alabama. He obtained his Alabama Professional Engineer designation in 2017 and was then promoted to a geotechnical project manager. Dulaney has since added Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and Texas licenses to his resume. His responsibilities will include planning and oversight of field testing, investigations and instrumentation activities. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Alabama Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the AGC Construction Leadership Council.
