Thompson Engineering Adds Branch Office

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile-based Thompson Engineering has expanded its Gulf Coast presence with the recent opening of a new office in Biloxi. The branch is Thompson’s 15th and joins established Mississippi branch offices in Moss Point and Jackson. Thompson has partnered with a variety of commercial and industrial and state and local clients along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A project to dry dock the IP Casino following Hurricane Katrina was recognized by Engineering News-Record as one of the nation’s “Best of the Best” engineering projects in 2015. Thompson has also performed design and geotechnical work for the Beau Rivage Casino and was structural engineer of record for the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum.
