VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering Celebrates 30 Years at Brookley

VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering (MAE) recently celebrated three decades of operation and redelivery of its 6,000th aircraft. Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said the city helped the Aeroplex at Brookley-based company celebrate on June 30. VT MAE has steadily expanded its operations and now covers 1 million ft2 at the facility. It serves major passenger and freight airlines with maintenance, modification and engineering services. “This company has been a critical piece of our economic fabric for the last 30 years and has helped pave the way for the thriving aerospace industry we have today,” Stimpson added. “We are proud that VT MAE decided to call Mobile home 30 years ago, and we look forward to many more years of success in the future.”
