West Lake Road Opens In West Mobile

The newly constructed West Lake Road North in West Mobile opened for travel on November 24, according to Mobile County Engineering in a FOX10 News report. The new road intends to ease traffic congestion near schools and new subdivisions in the area. It also provides an alternate route for accessing Dawes Intermediate and Hutchens Elementary schools, which are on West Lake Road, officials said. This construction project was funded by the 2014 Pay-As-You-Go program.
