White-Spunner Announces Scholarship Winners

MOBILE, Ala. — White-Spunner Construction of Mobile recently announced the winners of its annual scholarship program. The recipients are Aaliyah Alexander, a sophomore at Alabama A&M University studying English with a concentration in secondary education and daughter of Brandee Alexander, the company’s drywall division administrative assistant; Sarah Holland, a junior at Auburn University studying computer science and software engineering and daughter of Amy Holland, the company’s contracts manager; and Ben Miller, a soon-to-be graduate of the Alabama School of Math and Science and son of Philip Miller, a project executive at White-Spunner. Since the scholarship program’s inception in fall 2000, the company has awarded financial gifts to children of employees pursuing a college education. It has sought those who strive for academic achievement and character development, and who have demonstrated leadership qualities and devotion to community service.
