White-Spunner, Thompson Engineering Among Best Companies To Work For

Mobile-based White-Spunner Construction and Thompson Engineering were recently named in Business Alabama’s “Best Companies to Work for in Alabama.” White-Spunner has won this award seven years in a row, and the company said it “enjoys providing an environment in which employees are excited to work.” Thompson Engineering won in the “Large Companies category.” Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine which companies should be on the list. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Alabama. The 2022 listing recognizes 35 companies. Those that made the list are profiled in the December 2022 issue of Business Alabama.
