Work Begins At The Grounds

Ground has broken on The Grounds’ first phase of park, site and facility improvements. Aimed at increasing guest and patron-friendly enhancements present at the Greater Gulf State Fair, taking place at The Grounds on October 29-November 7 this year, upgrades include a new midway layout and additional buildings used to host events. According to the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, the project is valued at $1.5 million.
