Local Skincare Brand Finding Success

In the last year, local entrepreneur Danielle Dials launched Danielle Renée Beauté, a luxury skincare brand, AL.com recently reported. It offers a full line of vegan and gluten-free skincare products that are nontoxic with eco-friendly ingredients, including 13 styles of handcrafted lashes and cosmetics, handmade soaps. Dials also sells beard oil and beard butter for men. Danielle Renée Beauté is named in honor of Dials’ mother, longtime Mobile newswoman Renee Dials, who worked as an investigative reporter and anchor at FOX10 in Mobile until she retired in 2017. Dials launched the skincare line in October 2020, and her products have earned the attention of Flying Solo, a boutique in New York City that expressed interest in selling Danielle Renée Beauté in two of its locations. Her products are also available on her website, and she hopes to eventually open her own storefront. Dials is also committed to using her talents to bless other people, she says. She gives 10% of each sale to her church. Dials, who has worked at FOX10 for nearly 22 years in different positions, from production to directing to on-air personality to, most recently, sales, said the idea came to her during the pandemic.
