Zieman Joins Sunrise Dermatology And Skin Cancer Surgery Center

Sunrise Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery Center has welcomed Dr. Daniel Zieman. Zieman received premier training in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology during his dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Florida, caring for patients with complex medical diagnoses and cutaneous oncology needs. During his time at the Mayo Clinic, he researched and published articles on topics ranging from skin cancer in nonwhite, solid organ transplant recipients to cutaneous paraneoplastic syndromes in patients with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, among other topics. Born and raised in Mobile, Zieman received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Auburn University, graduating summa cum laude with honors. He completed medical school at the University of South Alabama, where he was elected as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society member.
