100% Graduation Rate At Orange Beach City Schools

Orange Beach City Schools has announced that its graduating class of 2024 has achieved a 100% graduation rate. Graduation rate is determined by the percentage of students who graduate on time, within four years of entering ninth grade. This cohort-based calculation includes all students who enrolled during those four years. Every student from Orange Beach’s Class of 2024 reached this milestone. “We are incredibly proud of our students and the dedicated staff who supported them throughout their educational journey,” said Randy Wilkes, superintendent. “This achievement is a testament to the power of collaboration and our collective focus on preparing students for success in college, career and life.” This year’s achievement builds upon the success of the school system’s class of 2023, which had a 98% graduation rate. According to the Alabama State Department of Education, the 2023 graduation rate will be used in the calculation of the state’s official “Report Card,” to be released later this year.
