ASMS Announces Stem Leadership Academy

The Alabama School of Math and Science (ASMS) in Mobile has announced a new initiative to support job growth in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from a young age. The Alabama STEM Leadership Academy, launching in June 2022 for rising 7th, 8th and 9th graders, will be a hands-on summer camp in which campers may engage in such courses as “3D Printing,” “ACT Prep,” “Cyberpatriots,” “Underwater Robotics,” “Labs of Doom,” “Geology of Minecraft,” “Laser Cutting 3D Modeling,” “Using Java” and “Rocketry.” Two sessions will be held: the first on June 6-10 and a second on June 13-17.
