Aviation Academy Holds Open House

The Aviation Academy held an open house at the new Aviation Lab at Jack Edwards National Airport on October 13, GulfCoastNewsToday.com reported. Attending students have worked with aviation teacher Haley Kellogg and mentors to build worktables, organize parts and inventory and begin construction of a Van’s RV-12 airplane. Students and administrators also had the opportunity to fly in an RV-12 with Tango Flight during the open house. The program, open to juniors and seniors, has six students who meet at the Gulf Shores High School Aviation Lab each morning.
