Baldwin County Recognizes Teachers

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Fifty Baldwin County Public Schools teachers were honored on March 24 during the system’s annual Teacher of the Year banquet, held at The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection, Gulf Coast Media reported. The event, hosted by the Baldwin County Education Coalition, recognized a Teacher of the Year from every Baldwin County public school. Tori Erdossy, fourth-grade English and language arts and social studies teacher at Fairhope West Elementary, was named Elementary Teacher of the Year. Erdossy has taught for 17 years and has been at Fairhope West for eight years. Patsy Brantley, English-as-a-second-language teacher at Robertsdale High School, was honored as Secondary Teacher of the Year. Both Erdossy and Brantley will advance to compete for the regional and then state Teacher of the Year awards.
