Bishop State GLAM Camp Registration Open

Bishop State Community College has announced the third annual Girls Learning About Manufacturing (GLAM) Camp for June 23-26 at its campus in Mobile. The free four-day summer camp is designed for rising 6th-8th grade girls and aims to introduce them to the world of modern manufacturing and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers in a fun, engaging, hands-on environment. There will be interactive demonstrations and hands-on experiences, field trips to local industry partners and manufacturing facilities, career exploration in high-demand fields, soft skills development workshops and a variety of activities. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Volunteers to assist with activities, mentor students or help behind the scenes are welcome.
