BSCC For Culinary Arts Program Reaccredited

Bishop State Community College (BSCC) has announced that its culinary arts program has qualified for a five-year reaccreditation by the American Culinary Federation Educational Foundation (ACFEF). During the visit of the accreditation team, zero noncompliance issues were found. Accreditation by ACFEF assures that the program is meeting standards and competencies set for faculty, curriculum and student services. Additionally, it makes program graduates eligible to receive Certified Culinarian credentials and ServSafe certifications. These certifications are widely recognized in the food and restaurant industry. The accreditation follows an application process and extensive school review that took more than a year.
