Denton Magnet School Named To Top List

Mobile’s Denton Magnet School of Technology was recently named a 2023 School of Excellence by A+ College Ready. After taking the PSAT 8/9, Denton students’ baseline score was used to determine the school’s growth goal. Denton exceeded that goal, and its leadership team was asked to present on “Schools that Work” to the A+ Leadership Institute. Schools participating in A+ College Ready receive high-quality training, incentives, supplies, curricular materials, student study sessions and advanced placement (AP) exam subsidies. "We appreciate the support of A+ College Ready and [the] Alabama Department of Education in our focus on ‘developing the high expectations, skills and content needed to prepare students for AP and other rigorous coursework… for college, career, and life,’” the school said.
