Fairhope High Program Benefit Coming Up

FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Morgan Thompson Foundation of Fairhope will host a “Brains and Brews” fundraiser to benefit the Fairhope High School’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The event is set for April 23 at 5-8 p.m. at The Little Whiskey in Fairhope. The evening will include “Rock-n-Roll Bingo” with guest bartenders from Fairhope High School serving drinks for tips. Guest bartenders include Fairhope High School Principal Jon Cardwell, Assistant Principals Dee Dee Litaker and Josh Howell, IB Counselor Cammie Adams and IB English Teacher Catherine Coleman. The free-to-attend event includes two rounds of bingo (cards available for purchase) with prizes awarded to the winners and auction items. Proceeds will help the foundation award scholarships to IB program students based on financial need, in addition to a $1,500 scholarship to one graduate based on merit.
