Five MCPSS Schools Ranked Among Alabama’s Best

The Mobile County Public School System (MCPSS) announced that five schools were ranked among the top schools in the state by U.S. News & World Report. Council Traditional School was rated the best elementary school in the state, and Clark-Shaw School of Math, Science and Technology was rated the best middle school in South Alabama. Other MCPSS schools ranking among the best statewide were: Eichold-Mertz School of Math, Science & Technology (#3); Phillips Preparatory School (#5); and Old Shell Road School of Creative & Performing Arts (#11).
