Forest Owners’ Association Workshop Set for June

The Alabama Forest Owners’ Association, Inc. is holding a “Resource to Recreation” teacher workshop at the Battle House Hotel in Mobile on June 23-24. High school teachers are invited to learn how Alabama’s forests provide both recreational activities and essential everyday resources. Forestry professionals will be on hand, and teachers may become certified in the Forestry Worker Career Readiness Indicator program. Field trips and hands-on activities are included in the $50 fee.
