Four Minority Teacher Scholarships Awarded

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — A cooperation between the Baldwin County Public School System‘s human resources department and community group Ecumenical Ministries, Inc.’s ACT-II Minority Teacher Hiring Council recently awarded four $1,000 scholarships to minority students who promised to teach in Baldwin County when they graduate. Zachariah “Zeke” Hixon, who will attend Alabama State University; Jaden Jordan, Stillman College; Kendal Kittrell, University of South Alabama; and Arianna McWilliams, Miles College, were given the first Ms. Daisy Seale Moore Minority Educator’s Fund awards.
