Hispanic Business Association Awards Scholarships

The Hispanic American Business Association of the Gulf Coast recently announced the recipients of its 2023 scholarships at the Aviation College campus of Coastal Alabama Community College (CACC) at the Brookley Aeroplex. Six outstanding students from Hispanic heritage in Mobile and Baldwin counties were honored: Patricia Socorro, who will study to be a bilingual dentist at the University of South Alabama (USA); Felix Raul Torres, who is studying to be an aircraft mechanic at the Aviation College at CACC; Macayle Miller, who will study health sciences at USA with a goal to pursue a physical therapy degree; Mia Uribe, who will study biology/pre-medical at USA; Braulio Steven Carballo-Ramirez, who will study engineering at USA; and Miranda N. Santiago, who is pursuing a degree in business management at USA.
