MAAAC Gala Coming To Orange Beach

Tickets are available for the sixth-annual Makos Academics, Arts, and Athletics Club (MAAAC) Gala, sponsored by Perdido Beach Resort, taking place on August 9 at 5:30-11 p.m in the resort’s Grand Ballroom, Mullet Wrapper reports. Tables of 12 seats are $1,500 each, while individual tickets are $150. Local educators in the Orange Beach City School System may buy tickets for $50. Cocktail attire is suggested. Proceeds from the event’s silent auction will support educational opportunities and programs for students. Those who wish to donate may call 251-200-8037 or email Melaine Bennett. Since its start in 2019, MAAAC has raised and distributed more than $1.5 million to support Orange Beach City students in their academic, artistic and athletic programs.
