Milner Named CACC President

The Alabama Community College System recently approved the current Saraland City Schools Superintendent Aaron Milner to serve as the next president of Coastal Alabama Community College (CACC), AL.com reports. Dr. Aaron Milner’s tenure at the college begins on February 1. He has been Saraland City Schools’ superintendent since summer 2013 after serving in the same role at Enterprise City Schools. After less than a year on the job, the school board extended his contract to 2018. Milner has also been a teacher and coach in Eufaula City Schools and at Enterprise High School. Before becoming the Enterprise superintendent, he was the principal of Dauphin Junior High School in Enterprise. He has also served as an adjunct professor for master’s and doctoral educational leadership courses at the University of South Alabama and various courses at Troy University. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, a master’s degree from Troy University and a doctorate from Auburn University.
