MMofA Partners For STREAM Saturdays

The Mobile Museum of Art (MMofA) has partnered with the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department on the Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) program. The next session will feature recreation and art on May 16. Themed “Creepy Crawlies: Bugs and Insects,” it will take place in MMofA’s Fantastical Forest exhibition. Participants in grades K-8 are invited to learn more about our local environment through the exhibit and create their own insect-inspired artwork. Guests may also tour MMofA’s newest exhibition, “Aminah Robinson: Journey’s Home, A Visual Memoir” and participate in a variety of STREAM activities. Spots are limited for the free event, and registration on the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department’s website is required.
