National Peer Program Conference Coming Up

The 12th Annual National Peer Program Conference is taking place at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach on March 6-10. Organizers ThriveWay and the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation say they were prompted by the “overwhelming growth of the conference” to plan two full sessions and add a youth mental health training day for 2023. This year’s keynote speaker is Emily Elrod, an author and corporate culture consultant known for developing the WISE (Well, Intelligent, Safe, and Empowered) framework to help people live healthy, happy and purposeful lives.  The conference will also include breakout sessions for participants to collaborate with peers and industry leaders from across the nation. More than 700 educators, counselors, peer helper coordinators, school administrators and youth mental health professionals are expected to attend. Registration is open for participants, and sponsors or exhibitors may contact the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation at email.
