Orange Beach Schools Test Scores Recognized

Orange Beach City Schools has announced year-over-year growth in test scores as reported in the Alabama State Department of Education’s state and federal report cards to 95. The system said that, in only its second year, it secured its place among the top-performing districts in the state with this overall performance score. The achievements reflect the success of both Orange Beach Elementary and Orange Beach Middle High School. The elementary school raised its score from 95 to 97, while the middle high school improved from 85 to 94. Superintendent Randy Wilkes attributed the gains to improved student attendance, elevated expectations and a rigorous academic approach.
