Pathway Clinical Institute Prepares Nursing Assistants

MOBILE, Ala — Pathway Clinical Institute, a new private school in Mobile, is offering a two-week course to prepare students for nursing assistant certification exams, Business Alabama reported. The program is available to anyone 18 or older with a high-school diploma or general education degree. Its goal is to get students certified and working in long-term care facilities, hospitals and other medical facilities, and it is licensed by theAlabama Community College System. Of the 20 students who have completed the course so far, 15 have become certified nursing assistants. All classes take place in person, Monday through Friday, at 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and include classroom and clinical training.
