Spring Hill Granted $2.2 Million

Mobile’s Spring Hill College has been awarded a U.S. Department of Education Title III grant totaling $2.2 million. Key areas of focus for the grant include enhancing academic support, modernizing educational technology, faculty development and strengthening student engagement. Academic support includes tutoring, mentoring and resources for students in need of additional assistance. Part of the grant will be directed toward enhancing extracurricular activities, common spaces and support services to enrich student life. Spring Hill says it looks forward to using the funds to create a more robust, inclusive and innovative learning environment.
