STEM Saturdays Kicking Off Tomorrow

STEM Mobile and the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) are beginning STEM Saturdays on May 18 at MPRD Community Centers. Tomorrow’s event will be at the Dotch Community Center at 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. This interactive and hands-on program will give young Mobilians in grades K-12 an opportunity to learn about density, buoyancy and the science behind sailing, while building their own boats. It will culminate in a live boat race using boats each student has designed, built and tested. Attendance is free, but registration is required.
