Stream Saturday Returns August 16

The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a new Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) Saturday on August 16 at 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Dotch Community Center in Mobile. This iteration will feature a hands-on lesson in agriculture science. Open to children aged 5-13, the event will have experiments and creative play as young agriculturalists explore the science behind the food we eat and agricultural topics like soil health, pollination, irrigation and sustainable farming. The event is free, but space is limited, and preregistration is required.
