Summer Attractions At Exploreum

The Exploreum Science Center in Mobile has announced several upcoming exhibits, in addition to “Galileo: The Science of Antiquity,” which is on view until May 23. “Tiny Titans: Hatching the Past” will run until August 1. The hands-on exhibit offers a glimpse into the lives of dinosaurs through their eggs, nests and young. It showcases an extraordinary collection of real (fossilized) dinosaur eggs and nests from around the world, including specimens from each of the major plant- and- meat-eating dinosaur groups. “Space: The New Frontier,” running until June 5, takes viewers behind the scenes with Star Trek’s Chris Pine as he guides audiences through history in the making. This film follows real-life astronauts, engineers and researchers pushing the boundaries of space exploration and redefining humanity’s possibilities. “Oceans: Our Blue Planet” also runs until June 5. The film includes footage taken deeper than ever powered by new science and technology. Featuring rare filming firsts and deep-sea discoveries, this film reveals how all life depends on the health of the Earth.
