USA Professor Publishes Book For Teachers

Dr. Rebecca Giles, a professor in the University of South Alabama’s (USA) College of Education and Professional Studies, recently authored a new book about writing for young children. The 175-page A Young Writer’s World: Creating Classrooms Where Authors Abound, is intended for preschool and kindergarten teachers. Each of its five chapters includes full-color photos, and ready-to-implement appendices can get teachers in action quickly. Giles is also a coauthor of 2007’s Write Now: Publishing with Young Authors.
