Baldwin County Strawberry Festival Is This Weekend

The Baldwin County Strawberry Festival is coming to 4198 Municipal Park Drive in Loxley on April 11-12 at 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. According to Mullet Wrapper, the festival raises close to $50,000 for Loxley Elementary School and the ARC Baldwin County each year. Free shuttle service will be available from the Board of Education and Loxley Elementary School at 4999 South Magnolia Street. There will be strawberry dishes, music, crafts and a car show. This year, there will be a traveling carnival featuring rides for all ages and midway games like ring toss and balloon pop, with prizes ranging from stuffed animals to goldfish. Fair favorites like funnel cakes and roasted corn will be among the food options. More than 180 arts and crafts exhibitors and at least a dozen food booths are expected.
