Bellingrath Kids Gulf Discovery Day Coming Up

Bellingrath Gardens and Home is holding Kids Gulf Discovery Day on June 14 at 9 a.m.-noon. Attendees may learn about the wildlife and ecology of the Gulf Coast from a variety of environmental organizations throughout the region. Features include the Environmental Studies Center’s (ESC) Raptor Road Show on Bellingrath’s Great Lawn, with native birds of prey that have been rescued and rehabilitated at ESC, a natural sciences education facility owned by the Mobile County Public School System. Additionally, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab will set up its Discovery Hall touch tables. Admission includes entrance into Bellingrath Gardens for the day and is $15 for adults, $9 for children ages 5-12 and free for children ages 4 and under. There is no charge for Friends of Bellingrath members.
