Gulf Shores Zydeco, Crawfish Festival Coming Up

The seventh-annual Waterway Village Zydeco & Crawfish Festival will take place on April 21-22 along East 24th Avenue in Gulf Shores. The first day will feature a ticketed concert, with the Rebirth Brass Band performing at 7-9 p.m. Tickets are $29. Festivities start at 8 a.m. the next day, with vendors opening at 9 a.m. and a full lineup of music starting at 10 a.m. Admission is free. There will also be a 5K run/walk beginning on April 22, prior to the festival kickoff. The course is on flat and fast neighborhood streets and starts in front of Acme Oyster House.
