Lighting Of Mardi Gras Tree Taking Place Tomorrow

The City of Mobile is holding its Lighting of the Mardi Gras Tree and Brass Band Showcase on January 10 at 5:30-8:30 p.m. The Magnolia Breeze Youth Ensemble of Mobile will begin playing at 5:45 p.m., and the tree will be lit at 6:20 p.m. The Second Line Society Brass Band of Mobile will begin playing at 6:30, and the 9th Avenue Brass Band of Pensacola will begin playing at 7:10 p.m. The Southern Komfort Brass Band of Jackson, Mississippi, will begin playing at 7:45 p.m. There will also be food trucks and other vendors.
