Mathews Comedy Show For Regions Arena Postponed

Following news that it won’t be open for Mobile’s 2027 Mardi Gras celebrations, Regions Arena has announced that shows by comedian Matt Mathews have been rescheduled, AL.com reported. The performances, originally scheduled for March 6, 2027, have been rescheduled to April 3, 2027, at 4 and 8 p.m. The first show swiftly sold out, and a second was added. Previously purchased tickets will be honored. City leaders had hoped for the arena to be open in time for Mardi Gras festivities, but on September 11, Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis announced the timetable had slipped due to rainy weather. An opening date has yet to be announced.
