Mobilian Releases Carpenters Tribute Album

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile native Carla Williams recently released A Tribute to the Carpenters, a Carpenters tribute album, via her own label, BelleFire Records, AL.com reports. Making of the album included recording sessions with the London Strings at Abbey Road Studios in London; the recruitment of Toto’s Steve Luthaker for a guitar solo; and collaborations with British pop star Cliff Richard, singer-songwriters Jeff Coffey and Bill Champlin and country singer Billy Dean.
